The 95-metre tower of Palazzo Vecchio, also called Arnolfo’s Tower, rises above the city as one of its unmistakable symbols. The panorama from the top is extraordinary.
Designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, it completes the earliest core of the old government palace, later called Palazzo Vecchio, which the great architect built in the late thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries. Spectacular views of Florence can be enjoyed at the top, from intermediate openings during the climb and along the atmospheric old battlement walkway.
Suitable for children aged six and over and teenagers too. Booking is recommended through http://bigliettimusei.comune.fi.it
